After the bickering reached a high point I looked over at the clock and realized none of us had eaten a SNACK or LUNCH and it was well past time for BOTH!!

No wonder we were having so many issues!

Food and a park trip later, things settled down and the rest of the day went much more smoothly.

Lesson learned. Don't forget to eat! Don't forget to feed your children!

Duly noted. Food, glorious food, is a very good thing. :)

You would think that I would remember that, considering some of my children (and myself, let's be honest) become possessed if they have blood sugar crashes. But no, we all just get irrational and wander around being horrid until I go, "OH, FOOD!" like it's this new surprise. Like we don't need to eat every two to three hours around here. When will I catch onto that??

I agree. Food is VERY important.

I forget sometimes, too. Sometimes I feel like a dummy. Just know that you're not alone :)

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one.

Heidi, I agree, you said it perfectly. Hahhah... "OH, FOOD!"

Sooooooo true. Cameron reaches this hungry beyond reason point, and then I have to trick him into putting something in his mouth. Otherwise he will just keep doing this "Hungry!" "Not hungry!" thing over and over.

I know! I've done that too! It's nice when the solution is within your grasp. Also, nice to realize that not only your children were affected, but you were too, by the lack of food. :)

You crack me up! I can honestly say that around here--that forgetting to eat thing doesn't happen very darn often! ha ha! How are you guys? Did you make the Honey cake (Lebkuchen) recipe this year?
    Hope you are all well!
