Hello world!

We did it! Anna Rebecca Hanson (who we'll call Becca) came at 2:25pm today, all 9 lbs of her! Didn't know I had that in me! (Literally...heh heh heh...)

About 2 1/2 hours of real, honest to goodness, hunkered down, active labor where I needed to focus on nothing but labor.

  • 9 lbs, 21 1/2 inches (after babies that were 6 lbs 10 oz, 7 lbs 13 oz, and 7 lbs 10 oz!)
  • A fair amount of dark hair (that will turn light in no time if she follows in her sisters footsteps)
  • Long fingers!
  • Chubby legs & thighs & face :D

    Congratulations, Abby! Way to go! She sounds adorable! Can't wait to see pictures.
    btw, I was 9 lbs. 6 oz. when born, I was my mom's fourth girl, and the 3 girls before me were all around 6 1/2 to 7 lbs. Weird, huh?

    Congrats! That's cool you had her on St. Patricks Day AND your actual due date! Hope you both can get some rest and we'll be anxiously awaiting pictures. :)

    Congrats!!! And not to rush you but I am oh-so-eagerly looking forward to a very detailed birth story. :) Maybe in another 3 (or six??) weeks when you've had a chance to snatch some sleep here and there.

    You are amazing, nine pounds?? :) How incredible do you feel, four gorgeous & healthy girls?? I'm thrilled to my toes for you...
